*****About the Most Wuthering Heights Day ever...
The first version of the 'Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever' took place in England 2013 and was created by performance collective Shambush! who attempted to set an unofficial world record for the most people dressed as Kate Bush in one place, with hundreds attending. It is with thanks to Shambush our founders and Wuthermothers, that this annual event now happens all around the world.
The event is in celebration of Kate Bush's 1978 hit song Wuthering Heights, and is scheduled on a date close to Kate's birthday (which happens to be the same day as Emily Brontë's birthday) - it is an inclusive event with participants wearing red in a tribute to her costume in the Wuthering Heights music video.
***Do you need to know the moves?
Well, you'll probably have more fun if you know a few moves, but you can absolutely just turn up on the day and follow along with the other Wutherers (or just frolic about in red), we'll have a warm up and rehearse a few moves.
